A Rich History Built on Tradition
Socli's story began in 1863 with the establishment of CHAUX RABOT, founded by Joseph Rabot. Over the decades, our company has grown and modernized, continually building on its heritage of quality and expertise.
1863: Joseph Rabot establishes lime kilns, marking the beginning of CHAUX RABOT.
1890: Ownership transfers to Alfred Delrieu, Rabot's foreman. At this time, limestone was manually loaded into carts.
1903: Construction of the Izaourt factory, which remains the cornerstone of our production today.
1935: Alfred Delrieu's son expands and mechanizes operations, enhancing efficiency.
1990: Socli acquires the company, ushering in a new era of growth and innovation.
